WLPWR (pronounced “Will Power”) is best known for his work as a Hip-Hop/Pop/R&B/Country producer.
Born in Carmel, CA, Will began producing music as early as 1997 while living in Columbia, SC. It was in the Carolina’s that WLPWR first began to make a name for himself. WLPWR’s desire to produce music on a professional level led him to pursue opportunities in New York. In 2010, shortly after relocating to the Big Apple, he met Yelawolf in the lobby of Sugar Hill Records and instantly formed a connection. WLPWR established his brand name, SupaHotBeats later that year. Through this brand, Will started The Starving Artist Showcase, a music contest which later laid the foundation for his television show The Independent Music Review. The show aired on Atlanta’s UPN network in 2005. The decision to move his business to Atlanta, where the music industry is more accessible, has contributed greatly to his success. Atlanta is now home where Will works with artists such as Eminem, Wiz Khalifa, Yelawolf, Tech N9ne, Big Krit, Asap Rocky, Travis Barker, Game, and many more.
Will is currently developing Bronx, NY native Skye Morales, a talented 19 year old songstress who currently resides in Atlanta. He also hosts a podcast, Free Game Everyday, educating new up and coming producers of the world on how to hone their craft and navigate their careers.
